'ello. I'v been wondering about these for some time now, and I saw someone the other playing one. There basically strat's with a reverse 'big peg' headstock. Its a tribute you him. (Hendrix of coarse).
So these are the things I'd like to know about them:
- Where were they made?
- Are they rare to come across?
- Average price (Because I'v been savin' up some pounds 8) )
- And finally, if anyone has one... Any good?

Thanks for any replies and all that - Jimmy.

I'm not sure whether or not Fender actually made a "Voodoocaster." A lot of guys like the look, and achieve it simply by purchasing and installing a left-handed neck with a reversed nut. I think it makes for a badass looking guitar personally. Check http://www.warmoth.com for a selection of Fender-licensed necks.

The voodoo strat also had a reverse slant on the bridge pickup. It was released after the woodstock strat wasnt recieved too well.
Decent american made guitars. Expect to pay £1k+ for a used one they are collectable.

On these Warmoth necks, can you have the word 'Fender' on the headstock?

Not legitimately. Although a licensed replacement part, fender reserves its branding for its factory parts. A necessary evil in the age of counterfeits and piracy.
