I hope its a MIA drumstick. I heard once from a short fellow who lived in a treestump that MIM drumsticks aren't proper drumsticks. :P

Nice link thanks Trauma. Its always good to watch BG in action.

Hey Trauma: I guess that must be Glastonbury from last year, is that right?

Buddy Guy really is very, very good, isn't he? What a showman: I don't think we devote near enough attention to him here.

Thanks for posting.

Cheers - C

Alvin Lee of Ten Years After was famous for doing that.

Ha! Reminds me of Nigel Tufnel playing his guitar with a violin:

Hey StratHeads-

I've seen Buddy Guy several times. He will do riffs with just about anything. I once saw him play by plucking the strings with the buttons on his overalls.---

He is awesome and a great person. I got the chance to talk to him while he was signing autographs. He and I spoke for at least 5 minutes about everything from the heat (Sacramento) to callouses on the fingers (He wanted to see mine).

He is the best.

Awesome clip, thank you for sharing!

I saw Buddy at The Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, Mi shortly after Damn Right, I've Got The Blues came out and he just ripped that room to shreds. It was just a small club holding maybe 300 people, but he played like it was to 100,000. Like was mentioned previously, he walked out into the crowd and played and couldn't have been more than a foot away from me at one point :)

Love BG. I need to see him live someday soon. If I could choose any person in the world to teach me guitar, it would porbably be him.

I do it all the time. Sometimes even tuning a guitar to open tuning and sliding with one drumstick and picking with the other.
