An old friend of mine from church passed away, and his son is wanting to sell a millenium Strat to raise money for a Taylor acoustic. This young man is our worship team leader. His dad was our drummer.

I'd help him out and find out a value and possibly a buyer for it. I figured I would ask the long time Strat lovers what you thought.

I usually don't ask values on forums because flipping guitars is frowned upon, but it's my friend's son. So, I thought I would ask.

It is a Candy Red Texas Fat Strat, Millenium edition. He bought it new in 2000. It has a pearloid pickguard and a Duncan Pearly Gates pickup in the rear position. The "Seymour Duncan" name on the pup is in silver.

He is selling his 300 series Taylor (to me) and needs to sell the Strat to be able to order the one he is wanting.

This is a straight laced young 20 year old college student and Christian. I am hoping that his dream will become a reality. The guitar he is wanting is a Taylor k26ce Grand Symphony in Hawaiian Koa. A very pretty guitar with a pretty price tag too.

Maybe if someone is interested I can hook you up with him to work something out. I don't have any pics of it but I can tell you it is probably a 7.5/10. It has a few scuffs and scratches here and there as it was a players guitar, but is hasn't been abused.
