Squeedunk, not only have we indeed seen this guitar before - it was you that posted a question about it when you were thinking of buying it back last August: http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... t=affinity So. None the wiser on it after all these months, huh? What's the story? Cheers - C

And Like I said last year, that's one of those Chinese fakes. Here are some pics/thread I started a while ago.

Yours is different from those, but some features are similar. I believe it says "Scott Wilburn" on the headstock. Google is your friend.

Ha! Google is my friend - but I'd have to be able to read that signature first before I could Google it. You have better eyes than me!

So all bets are off, huh? This is actually a very valuable guitar from the Scott Wilburn Custom Shop. Er...

Hey, squeedunk: why don't you email the Wilburn Custom Shop and ask them if they built this fake Fender and put their own name on the top? I wonder if you'll get a polite reply...?

But seriously: I wonder how a decal with Scott Wilburn's name got onto the same headstock as a fake Fender logo? Weird: I'd sure love to know the real history of this guitar!

Cheers - C
