Awhile back you guys helped me wire in new pickups in my son's strat along with altering the tone controls. Now he brought it to work on again because his selector switch is acting up. The problem is the switch he bought is different from any I have worked on before. The contact points on it are as follows, three on top in a slight semi-circle, three on the bottom in a slight semi-circle and one right in the middle. Would someone be able to talk me through the correct wires to solder to the correct points to make it work in the traditional strat switching pattern? I can't find this switch diagram anywhere. Thanks guys.

you mite be better off buying a stock oak five way they are under $20 and you can find the wiring diagrams online. or post some good pics of the switch you have from different angles and ill try to walk you through it.

I 'll try post a picture this evening. He gave me the switch without any packaging, so I don't even know the name of it. It is brand new and has seven terminals on one side three on top, three on the bottom and one in the middle. Hundreds of combinations if you don't know which wire goes were.
