I think they rule everything, despite me having never tried them or even playing guitar or picked a guitar up even. They have alnico 22 and 3 little bits magnets. That makes them better than anything else on the planet. Also the wood breathes which gives better resonance across the pickup. It does lend to a weaker magnet though thats why AlNi 22 & 3bits is used.

excuse me for being on topic. But, i actually spoke to a machine shop about milling some brushed aluminum pup covers for me. Doable but pricey. Now i only need to know if aluminum would have adverse effects on the pups themselves.
