Hi, all, I want to ask you which humbucker sounds better. We have to HSS options for Strats and it's either the American Standard or the American Deluxe. Standard uses a Diamondback HB while American Deluxe uses a DH-1 HB. Which humbucker has a good dark roar in it, but still can sound like bells (a la the Les Paul). I've never tried any of them, and from what it looks, I'm gonna have to wait till my guitar store makes an order for them around Christmas time. Any input will be appreciated/
Thanks for your time.

I have the DH-1. On paper it's identical to a Duncan JB, and it does sound somewhat similar. There's a big upper midrange to it. Don't expect either to sound like an LP though. But they will definitely sound like a fat Strat. Think early EVH heavy. Through the right amp you can get very heavy, but never like a thick and dark LP.
