Yes, however...

This is a very incomplete, non-detailed scenario of some of the things you will face:

There's a lot of work involved including routing out underneath where the Floyd sits in the body or ridiculously shimming the neck as the action would be too high if you just mounted an original Floyd 'on' the body rather than 'in' it. You'd have to enlarge the area of the body where the arm fits into the Floyd too. You'd also have to cut out part of the pickguard to accommodate the Floyd. And depending on which OEM tremolo you have in there, you may or may not have to dowel the original tremolo post holes, remeasure and redrill for the Floyd's screws and/or sockets as the OEM holes may or may not line up with the Floyd's.

Then there's the locking nut area. The OEM nut slot must be obliterated and from there, back to the beginning of the fingerboard (by the headstock) the fingerboard must be lowered and flattened precisely right for proper action. This may or may not affect the truss rod's use, depending on which neck you have. And if you are truly using an original Floyd, you'd have to drill through the neck and countersink twice, right at the weakest point in a Fender neck for the mounting screws and washers which secure the locking nut.

You may also have to contour the height of the individualy bridge saddles to match the curvature of the fingerboard which would involve shimming.

Of note is that all critical dimensions MUST BE MET or the guitar will cease to be anything other than a collection of parts, unplayable and consequently, ready for the scrap heap.

As you may have surmised by now, this is a job left for a seasoned pro and is an irreversible mod which, unless you sold the guitar to another Floyd enthusiast, will have devalued the guitar considerably; or in the eyes of many, merely destroyed it.

Oh, where's my manners? WELCOME to the forum!!!
