I have been a fan for years, although i only got to see them live once with jerry back in 91. It was at Deercreek in Indiana and they had Bruce Hornsby sitting in on keys as their keyboard player had just passed away. I also enjoy Frank Zappa,Moe,Umphreys mcgee,Allman Bros, Gov Mule, Widespread,and off course Phish. Welcome to the forum

Well I'm certainly glad there are so many fans of the Grateful Dead's music on here as well as music they have inspired (Phish, WSP, etc..). Is anybody going for some concert runs this summer. I know for sure I'm seeing Phish in Knoxville, TN, other than that I don't have any set plans but I know I will end up seeing some more shows. If anybody's going to some shows down south (GA, NC, AL, MISS, SC, TN) let me know. Maybe we can meet up and follow a band for a bit. Another question: Is anybody in a band that covers GD, Phish, WSP, Moe., and others. I would like to become involved in something like that. How many of yall have seen Dark Star Orchestra? Awesome band.
