Can anyone help me to identify whether my Strat Plus Deluxe is a 1990 or a 1999? Apparently they used an N9 as a start for the serial # in both of these years. Has a solid black pickguard, roller nut, schaller locking tuners, lace sensor pickups red, silver, blue. Fender bridge with Pop in tremolo. Any thoughts on how to further identify this?? Thanks in advance.

I used to own an '87 Strat Plus. I loved that guitar.

If it has the Wilkinson Roller nut it's a '90. This nut will be bigger and use "roller barrings." The cover will have a brushed metal look.

If it is a thinner nut with ball barrings than it is an LRS nut. This replaced the Wilkinson nut in the early '90s (I think '93)
