I did search this before I asked so hopefully it hasn't been answered somewhere else, my apologies if it has.

I'm looking at getting an American Vintage 70s strat. On Fender's website it says that it comes in Natural and Olympic white, however I have come across a website that gives the option to buy it in black or 3 tone sunburst. Can anyone confirm for me that this is actually the case even though Fender don't advertise it.

On another point regarding CBS style Strats, what would people recommend. Shall I get the Vintage series, or should I spend that little bit more and get the Custom Shop '69?

If you have the $$$$, the Custom shop guitars are VERY nice.

If a CS is in your budget, I'd go that route!
