I know this isnt about fender but I always go here to ask any question because I always get great answers.

So im going to but a Boss OS-2 or DS-1 Effects Pedal. I play most hard rock (not metal), Foo Foghters, Nickelback, AC DC. What would give me the best sound... listen to this songs if you mind and tell me witch one would be best! Thx everyone.

I have the OS 2 pedal, it is good for that classic rock sound. It is great because it doubles between an overdrive pedal and a distortion pedal. But at the end of the day I play my MT 2 pedal the most. It has more range than the OS 2. Plus if you are going for that Nickleback tone, that is the one you want...you just have to play with it a little to dial it in (dial up the mids).

I have a DS-1 and a DF-2--which is the same as the DS-1 plus a feedback feature.

So, you might expect I'd automatically pick that one.

BUT, if you can't get both--you have to decide which one fits your sound better--and if you're in a band--which one fits the band better.

But if you can get both--you can use one for some songs--and the other for other songs.

I often have both the DS-1 and DF-2 both hooked up--with different settings--and a DOD Classic Tube as well.

Exactly...I use one distortion pedal for that classic sound, the other for a more modern sound, and the distortion on my amp for a completely different sound. Play around a bit. Your sound will find you. Don't try to sound like another band, try to sound like you playing another band's song.
