See, I'm getting my first quality guitar in five days. All I've had so far is a fifty buck Strat knockoff, that I got handed down to me, not even new! So I'm going for the real thing.

Anyway, back to the question, I was wondering if anyone knew, in American money, an estimated price for getting a Floyd Rose installed on a standard MIM Fender Stratocaster. I wouldn't mind doing it myself, but I'm not at that level of internal guitar know-how and all that. Thanks.

So the bridge itself will cost around 200 bucks so a total of 450 or so ... I would just buy a new guitar

For 700 you can get a Fender with Floyd Rose
So sell your standard save some money and then buy this:
