I'll start..

1st solo in 'Tightrope' by SRV... Plays the first 3 notes before kicking on his second O/D pedal... Much crunchiness ensues...

John Mayer Trio- "Wait Until Tomorrow"

John tears it up, I've been trying to figure out one of the licks for over a year, and tabs aren't helping.

Also, John Mayer "I Don't Need No Doctor" live from "Continuum Special Edition"... true rock 'n' roll.

<--- John Mayer fan, so I'm a little biased.

Just about anything by SRV, the solos in Spanish Castle Magic and lots of other Hendrix songs. Another Brick in the Wall is great too, I've always loved that solo.

There are too many to list but I'd have to say my favorite is the solos for Comfortably Numb.

I remember reading somewhere that David Gilmour used a Les Paul on the solo for Another Brick in the Wall. I could be mistaken though.

I depends on the attitude.

1. KWS..."Alive" and "Deja Voodoo"

2. John Mayer "Covered In Rain(Live)" from the Any Given Thrusday dvd.

3. Intro to "Cliff's of Dover" leaves a good taste in the mouth.

Yep he used a 1955 Les Paul Goldtop with P90 pickups.
