I'm having a real problem finding info on the 80's model "Strat", mostly as it has become the shortened term for the stratocaster and so makes searching nigh impossible...

Does anyone know where wiring schemo's and parts (info etc) for this model can be found?
A friend has one that has been butchered and would like to return it to roughly original spec.
The X-1 bridge pup I assume is a standard Alnico V, non-staggered strat unit overwound to ~7.5k?

Many thx.

The manual is here:

Some info here too:

Hope this helps.

Yes, I saw the SC page, thx v much for the manual link...
I really need schemo's though - mainly for the rotary switch.

I also found this:

There's a diagram towards the bottom, if you can understand it.

Glad it helped. Good luck with the project, we sure would like to see the guitar once completed.

Sure...
It's going to take a while, as it's not a top priority job.
And, there's a Kahler on it...
(Nasty rout under the bridge area).
