I have been told this is possibly a Deluxe American Standard or Strat Plus Deluxe.

Looks like it's gone. The Deluxe American Standard was made from 1988-1990 and was an AmStd with Gold Lace Sensors. Only about 400 made-Nice instrument-Laces are not for everyone, but mine has aged well. the pups are like a hi-fi version of vintage Strat pups and are especially nice for recording or if you use lots of pedals or processing.

Yes, I bought it. I am trying to find out exactly which model it is.

Send a email to Fender customer relations under the support section of this site. Include serial number. Looks like a standard mia strat to me. When did Fender start using the contoured heel on the MIA Deluxe? This one does not have it. Good luck! :)

No luck with customer relations They say their database of serial #'s only goes back to 1993.
