That is a really neat job alltogether. Look at that beautifull wiring, absolutely superb. That neck pocket is a sight for sore eyes too. Why havent american strats got such neat pockets.

my AMdeluxe has that pickup route not as neat a neckpocket though. That looks one hell of a good guitar.

Cool, I have two chinese Floyd Rose guitars... this is proof, one more time, that chinese craftmanship has gone way better :)

Yeah, the Squier Vintage Modifieds are, too. I have been happy with the construction and materials of my VM as well.

I like more wood in the guitar....hence the classic "50's SSS routing

+1 on that. Those closed 5 way switches are a hit and miss too.

Overall seems a very clean made guitar.

Loving it. I haven't had to tune it for a few days now. (Strings are finally stretched good.) Now I find myself debating on which guitar to pick up. They both play and sound great. I do find that the Bluesey stuff I play sounds a bit better on the Classic Vibe. Both are great for Metal.

The funny thing is I bought the Squire with the intentions of putting a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position; however, it may be my Highway 1 that gets it now.
