In short Floyd rose II equiped mim 95 sambora signature model. Even with locking nut I can't even look at the tremelo bar without it going out of tune. It is currently set-up so the bridge does not rest upon the body in the neutral position. I've stretched my strings out and everything but she goes out of tune if you barely touch the tremolo.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

sounds like the knife edges of the baseplate or the trem posts are worn out. A floyd trem needs to be balanced equally as much as a regular vintage trem needs to be. you need it to travel backwards to allow the balance to be 100%.

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked at the baseplate and the posts and they show no wear. This guitar was put in the closet for years and hardly played. Only recently have I started using it again. Any other ideas?
