Better to keep it intact and keep its value for resale mate. :wink: You know your technique better than anyone else. If you say its not that, its not that. I mention it because its always the first thing i look at when i experience problems.

I appreciate your input. And, I'm going to examine that closely. It could be I have just been sloppy with my fat fingers. Time to take a step back and go back to basics.....

It never hurts to go at snails pace and examine everything, once in a while. You may not notice anything or something completely unrelated that needs addressing. If you notice nothing have confidence. If you do notice something though be happy that you can do something about it.

Is there any area that the clanging fret problem happens more than anywhere else. It could be a neck relief or nut height problem. (just a outside thought)
