So, I will be changing my strings soon, and during this time I am interested in some mods having to do with PUPs or general electricity.
The guitar is a Strat HSS knockoff, and I would like to know interesting mod ideas. I thought of doing a on/off switch for each pickup, or something like a small boost circuit to hide somewhere under the pickguard.
Basically I'm asking for some unique ideas, that will be effective, and fun to use. :) Keep in mind, I'm no expert, so no routing or hard core circuits can be done.
Thx in Advance
Invin

I would do the bridge pickup mix in mod, you convert the second pot to be a general tone pot and then the third one will be a volume pot for the bridge when the switch is on any position so if you are using only the neck pickup then you can volume up the bridge pickup and have that configuration as well ..... :)

That's a very interesting idea. I'm going to have to keep it in mind for my next major guitar mod. :)

I like that idea :) pretty much have the bridge on all the time, and just use a tone pot space for a volume pot, or if I did that, I could just drill a new hole for a pot, and put in a 2 pickup switch like on Gibson guitars for the other 2...

Best strat mod ever here-

Completely uninvasive gives you one master tone and neck/bridge or all 3 pickups on options as well as the usuall 5 switching options.
