I try to not let things bother me as much anymore. Everyone has thier own opinions and favorite guitars. Niki always tell it like it is though! :wink:

tough choice.
tex mex pickups on jv can take gain fairly well.
however hwy 1 is my choice because it takes higher gains very well.
mia, and mim well both are constructed very well.

i have the hwy 1, and you can play cleans, crunch and hot rod rocking jams.
can you tell i love my hwy 1.
i almost traded i for classic players 60s w cs 60s pickups.
i would of still loved that guitar. but i would have missed the crap out of my hwy 1......

I am going to try to get to North Dakota next year if I can swing it. Go for
