Hi Strat Fellas!

Im about to close a swap deal but dont know how to value what im about to get. Its a 1993 American Vintage 57 with normal dings from a 16 year well played life. It plays reaaly well, recently set up by a pro luthier and has its original Tweed case.

Can anybody give me an estimated value for this Strat?

On ebay there are a couple for around $800

EBay past sells is a good source and there are several guitar blue books for sale. I even think you can google for sites that appraise for free. Of course these would just be just close estimates. Good luck!
You may also want to check this site out. He does not give estimates but gives a lot of info on older guitars.

Ill be swapping my Gretsch G5122-DC for the AV Strat tomorrow.
I think its a good deal even though I´ve upgraded it with TV-Jones Magnatrons. And thanks for the help fellas, didnt think (I seldom do) of Ebay past sells. Kudos!
