I couldn't resist this one today. I traded on an older Korg AX series multi-effects processor and bought this :

It surprisingly sounds great and I have no current intentions of modifying this....yet! ...but a maple neck would look nice on it! 8)

Awesome! You know, those were new when I was looking for my first guitar. I nearly got one, but back then I couldn't justify spending $300 on something I wasn't sure I was into. I would now though, they look incredible!

LOL niki...I really wasn't looking for one as much as wanting to unload my old Korg unit, but when I saw it, then played it, it felt like an old friend.

I may just do some upgrades eventually and store it in my cryolgenic chamber for some time.

Personaly i think a maple board will be the crowning glory of that guitar.
I certainly understand wanting to be rid of the korg. I tried one of these out years ago http://home18.inet.tele.dk/haslovs/effects/korg_g3.htm. I think i had it for 18 hours before deciding to ditch it in favour of some pedals. I managed to get my old zoom 707 working the other night.
Im sure i'd get about £1.50 for that on a trade in.

Kind of reminds me of a craft game my kids play....put the cardboard disc on the spinning wheel and drop paint drops...

Makes me all "google-eyed", like when the Dead asked everybody to play "Take One Step Back.....you see, all your friends in the front are getting 'horribly smashed', so everybody take one step back. That way your friends wont be so google-eyed"

I think I know what he meant though......

I'm pretty sure that's how they made them.
