The litterature on these guitars states that they have 'no load' tone controls. The one furthest from the volume control operating both the bridge and middle PU, and the one in the middle of the three controls operating the neck PU.

These tone controls are supposed to have a 'detent' in the '10' or off poistion. But the one I've played only has a notcable detent on the rear-most (bridge & middle pU) control. Is this correct or should both tone controls have this detent?

I believe only the rear most tone control is no-load. I have the same guitar and only the most rear one feels that way.

Thanks, I presume that must be correct then, since both seem the same.

The deluxe guitars have the same setup truth be told i cant hear the difference between it and a normal tone control.
