usually i never due this . . .
you know fall for that ol' ruse
"we do it for the music" bullshit . . .

but i needed a new guitar.
when i were a lad we never bought new,
it was always second hand & we know what we
were gettin' and how much it cost.

today, just check the net and you'll never buy second hand
again . . . cause you never know what your gettin . .
which is sad for the honest sellers and buyer alike.

i have never had a decent fender, so for the past few years
i have been lookin' while most shops only stock by profit margin,
"what they can sell" so the choice is very slim.

all the second hand guitars i have seen are frankenstein's
some good some bad . . . and some just outright crap or rip offs . . .

so i thought i would check out a guitar show . . .
sounds like a good idea . . . yeah . . .
at first the sear amount of guitars was great,
but after a few shows, the gut feelin' starts to pain . . .
the same bad seeds , amongst the good lots . . .
turns outs they are like the tinkers
they go from town to town. caveat emptor . . .

i went to the dallas guitar show,
and fender didn't even show up and i had so many questions
and cash in my pocket for the right guitar . . .
so it is off back to england without.

i keep looking . . .

guitar show can be fun and informative, so it is back to the
telephone and email . . . shame.

please read this in the spirit intend
and know this is my opinion, based on wha' appen to me man.
other users experiences may very based on income , star power
and location.

Fender had a double booth #421 & 520. It was right across from Peavey.

What exactly are you up too?
You register just to post 4 comments about the Dallas guitar show. I assume you work for them.

I didnt see fender there either.

and i walked around that show for hours, and even asked people. No one said fender was there, and i never saw a fender booth.

It was a bit disappointing.

Eric Johnson was great though!

I didn't see them or at least notice them either and I was there from open to close on Friday. My friend asked a few people and they didn't know if they were there either.

If they were, then they must have had a VERY lame booth.
