Howdy,
I'm going to put my guitar in its case for a few days - I *think* that I am supposed to remove the tremolo arm to put it in the case.

It's in there pretty tight - It's making me sweat to think about ripping it out of there (I'm imagining the bridge and part of the pick guard ripping off too).

Any pointers?

Thanks,
mas

Always take out the arm, before putting it into the case. The deluxe has a pop out arm.

I have my pop in arms set stiff. If you put your thumb tip and the front of your index finger on the tremplate it can be easier to pull out.

Definately take it out before casing the guitar.

If the trem arm is that difficult to pull out, you might just need to loosen the trem screw a bit - on the Deluxe models there is a small screw on the underside of the block (push your trem arm in towards the guitar all the way and look under the saddles). When I first got my Deluxe the trem arm was too loose and I didn't realize that there was that trem screw until someone who knew about it pointed it out to me. Hope that helps...

Thanks - I got it. I didn't rip any extra parts off the guitar either!
