well after a 2 and a half month wait (could have been worse) i got my new qmt strat and it is outstanding, the neck is the nicest ive ever played,

I had an american standard that was a gift from my father that had the old style bridge saddles and i didnt like them at all......but the new stainless saddles are sooooo nice, it feels like one smooth piece almost and is a hundred times easier to slide forward and back to mute ever so slightly more or less

that standard ended up being stolen,I have not had a strat for years as i have been playing my 1980 heritage series elite model ,which is also curley maple

ill ty to get some pics from a better camera

im not to sure how to get the pic up here so if someone puts them up for conveniece it would be good

I have been playing it almost non stop and i am falling in love, I close my eyes and om not even looking at it and i just keep saying WOW, it inspires me to push my playing forward, I love how noiseless the scn's are

so far i like having just the master tone

WOW! This is the piece i want,... badly! Do the pictures even do it justice??

How does the neck feel as compared to a rosewood?

how much, if any setup was required out of the box??

Peace

ill try to get some better pics of it but yeah id say it does it justice,

the ebony fretboard is so nice, smooooth,

they ask a hefty price for it so i had high expectations, im a machinist and perfection is what i do for a living so I am trained in quality control and being picky is just what i do

and it plays and sounds the way i expected something worth that much too. and that is a lot

as far as setup out of the box it was set up perfectly but every detail was checked by the owner of the shop who i have been friends with (him and his son who is my age) for years and he has been a recording artist for 40 years, and he wanted it to play as well as i wanted it too

ill wait a month and set it up again once it gets used to how dry it is here,I hope the frets dont sprout because they are perfect now

my les paul has an ebony fretboard to so im kind of spoiled that way...

the only way out of the whole maple vs rosewood debate
