These pickups are the best pickups for a strat I've ever heard! They have a fat, vintage tone while retaining perfect clarity and attack. Because they are replicas of the pickups Jimi Hendrix used, you get a perfect Hendrix sound. I'm going to replace my strat's stock pickups with these ASAP!

Nice choice, man. I took a chance on them and the first time I plugged in I could not believe my ears! Absolutely fantastic sounds. Try setting the pickup height on the low side when you put them in- they seem to really like being a little farther away from the strings than most.

I agree that they are great sounding pups, but I also like the Hot Noiseless pups a lot too, and the Fat 50s, 57/62s...

Basically it means that the pickups sound really clear, nut they pack a punch and have that vintage strat tone from the late 60's/ early 70's. The tone is sort of hard to explain. In order to truly understand it, you have to try out the pickups yourself.

Thats right, the clean sounds are absolutely perfect, sparkling and clear as water.

I have put these in two strat's for people the last few months and they seem to have been very pleased with the results.

The ones that I like the most was we tried the Klein Vintage Pro 50's everything about them seem authentic 50's from the formware wire to the cloth leads. And the sound was great!

Would you decribe them as fruity, smokey, nutty or jaded in bouque?

Sweet with jimmies on top or should I say sprinkles?
