Hey guys,

I did a quick search and didn't find the answer to my question.
I was wondering if anybody knew where I might be able to find or purchase a genuine Fender Neck, scalloped in the fashion Yngwie Malmsteen has for his.

Is there anyways to just purchase a scalloped neck directly from Fender or anything, because I'd like to know. I'd rather not do it myself, due to the fact that if I made a mistake (most likely) I'd ruin the neck.

Thanks Everyone,
Hope to hear from you soon.

You can get a scalloped neck licensed by Fender from Warmoth.

Thanks,

but the website provided does not offer a 'Vintage' style 21 Fret neck to be scalloped. I'll keep looking, and I hope others out there have suggestions as well, but for now, I'll keep that site as a resource I can use if my search leads me nowhere else.

No problem. They have great stuff if you can't find the one you're looking for.

They had one on ebay a couple of days ago on Stratosphere, but it looks like it's gone now...Still, good place to check every couple of days.

very true. The people at Warmoth are great. If they don't make it already, they will build it for you.

If you already have a fender guitar , you can have it scalloped and glossed by a good shop. Should be reasonable. I'm thinking of getting it done to my Ibanez 7, because I like my YJM so much.

Yeah, shop around. You may find a local guitar guy who would scallop a neck for you for a reasonable amount. If you need a neck with a Fender logo, you can usually find like-new Mexican made ones on Ebay for less than $150.

I am also interested in the scalloped neck. Our local guy wants $200 to scallop a maple neck.I have never played a scalloped neck so I don't know if it will suite me.So instead of scalloping my Custom Shop or my 70's neck strat I purshased a Squire rosewood neck from Smooth Grooves on E-bay.It should be here within a week to 10 days. If you search for "scalloped necks" on ebay a bunch of items come up even womens dresses  Good luck I'll let you how my Squire turned out.

I finished scalloping my knockoff strat last week, it does not look very good, but it plays much better than before!

I had the neck on one of my Strats scalloped last fall by Dean Cascione in Massachusetts. As mine is rosewood, it was a bit less expensive than a maple one. Turned out exceptionally well.
Dean does his by hand rather than by machine so it did take about 2 weeks to get back. Below is a link to his website and a few photos of the work he did for me. You'll not regret getting it done!
