Well, FSR indicates that your guitar was part of a Special Run.

Various retailers contract with Fender to make some guitars with special features just for them to sell, on the order of a couple hundred guitars. There have been many different FSRs over the years.

For example, the "Thin Skin" line of reissue guitars was an idea of three internet retailers. It's lasted a few years and seems to have caught on to the point where other Fender models are marketed as having thin skin finishes.

Contact Fender Consumer Relations and provide them with the Serial Number and they should be able to tell you about your guitar (the specs).

Nearly a decade ago, Sam Ash had Fender produce something called "The 48th Street Stratocaster". It was equipped with two Red Dually Lace Sensor pickups...neck and bridge....and the thus the entry of the dual humbucker strat concept door was opened.
