Just changed strings on MIA Strat , had this tiny annoyance a number of times, the ball end jamming in the block......D'Addario strings used
any tips......touch of vaseline maybe ??

5th & 6th usually got to use large needle to shift them , use 10's , tryin out 11's

So you can't get them in or can't get them out? Sorry trying to picture what your saying is wrong exactly. I like to avoid lube where I can as it collects dust.
Always remove them with enough string to push them out from the front side. (don't cut them at the bridge.

Hello Ripitup,

It's happen to me countless times,
not a big deal really.

Use Fender Bullets and your troubles dissappear,
I like bullets, I don't use 'em exclusively but
they're present on at least 2 of my guitars.

No lubing things up please.

Hi bss, yeah the old strings I'm trying to remove,always have to use needle pushed through the saddle to remove the ball end of the string, I don't cut the old strings to remove them, just pull them all the way through, nice tip though

Cheers Mr Bill , no lube & bullets , salesman said he didn't use bullets as they went off to quickly , I always used D'Addarios so kepy using them, maybe I'll give bullets a go, Thanks
