Don't laugh, I've got a little Fender Super champ! MUCH better than the Session sessionette I had a few years ago.

It's got various 'voices' (E Q presets?), use mainly number 8, lovely vintage valve sound from this little tube amp! I tend to prefer a bit crunch with the gain set betwen 4 & 7,rather than out-&-ut distortion; but it does that well too! I havn't needed any pedles yet, but then I'm a 'livingroom amateur'!!

I use a Mesa Boogie Lonestar Classic 2X12 Combo and the following setup:

Strat or Tele>Barber LTD Overdrive>MXR Phase 90>Ernie Ball Volume>Amp
Eventide Timefactor Delay>ISP Decimator Noise Gate in the effects loop.

Depends on what and when I am playing.

I have 2 amps now.

1. Fender G-Dec--which is in my bedroom for when I want to practice while wife and kids are home. Dial in your sound.

2. Roland Cube 30X--which I use when I want to hear myself, and not have to mess with effect pedals. Not much need for effects pedals with this amp.

The pedals I use are Boss products. Chorus, Metal Zone, EQ, and Distortion/Overdrive. My sound ranges from classic Sabbath to Pantera and anything in between.

Howdy cp, nice guitars!

I play my Strat (disregard the other guitars, I don't play them) through two lil' Fender amps in parallel through a Lehle Little Dual amp switcher pedal. Can also switch between the amps. Pretty blanking awesome.

The effects I use the most are volume and reverb. Really love loud and clean. Have some dirt, fuzz, wah, delay and compression.

I like the blues deluxe. I own one, and I just love it. It has the best clean sound. But, if you want to play distortion, it can do that too.

I've been playing my guitars thru my Fender Super Champ XD. I have a few pedals, but tend to use a BYOC Phaser more than any others. I tend to only use the Reverb in the amp.

Code:
guitar -> tuner -> boost -> phase -> chorus -> echo -> vibe -> amp

tuner   Fender PT-100
boost   EHX LPB-1
phase   BYOC - Script Phaser - built for me - "Phasers To Stun"
chorus  Danelectro Fab Chorus
echo    Danelectro Fab Echo
vibe    Danelectro Chicken Salad Vibrato

Awesome amp! I was playing one in the studio yesterday- just straight into the amp. Amazing tones.

It is. And I love it. Got a sweet deal too, especially considering what they, and all other Fender guitars/amps I've looked at, have outrageously jumped to.

Jan 08 I bought the DRRI ('65 Deluxe Reverb Re-Issue) and the LP Studio from Musicians friend. Then the Studios were $1200 and DRRI's $850.

Told the lady (I was calling from work at 2am PST on a Sunday, they're no longer open 24/7) I was about to bid on each used on the bay, but was curious whether if I were to buy both now, if she could offer me any kind of discount. She said she'd go ask, came back and said she could take a hunerd off each. SOLD.

Now they're going for $1200.

You mentioned the Blues Driver. The little green deal on the floor is...pretty good, too.

Scuse by lack of knowlege, but what is a powerbrake?

Years ago I watched a bloke playing very good Blackmore stuff through a big Marshal with his strat. He had some device in the line that looked like a huge variable resistor. looked like an open shallow box with a semicircle of round contacts and a arm that could sweep round enabling any given contact to be used; would this be a powerbrake??
