Hi everybody,

I'm from Rome - Italy and I've had a VG for a couple of years.
Since I took it I sold my former MIA (also because they gave me pretty much money for it).
I'm just pleased with VG even if I agree all the things that have been said about it: acoustic so-so, normal pu's volume is shorter than the moduled one, too much hum etc. but - oh man - it's so funny and practical!
And you have not to wait a single instant for changing into open chord - like you'd do if you had a Dark Fire, since the Gibson is working mechanically.

I've been lastly noticing a sort of "volume downsizing" in 3rd string (G) vs the others five BUT ONLY WHEN IN MODELING MODE: it's not the distance from the piezo (regular like the other strings' ones) and it's not something wrong with the string itself (since it does sound loud when in normal-Strat mode).

Did anybody of you have the same experience (with that string or another) and possibly how can it be fixed?

Thank you and Ciao from Rome
Fabio
