Hello all, I'm more than happy to say that I'm a new member of the fender family. I just ordered my Olympic White Maple American Strat I have been saving for a long time for this day! I just want to know if you guys have any tips on setting up a factory new Strat, I just want to make sure I do EVERYTHING right with this baby. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Congrats to you! How exciting.

I have found personally, that working on my Stratocasters is almost as fun as playing them. There is a great satisfaction in knowing that I took the time to learn about my instrument and can fine-tune it to my delight whenever needed. I would suggest learing how to set-up yourself (in-time, if now right away). It's a lot of fun and adds piece of mind to your playing.

Cheers! Pics when you get her, please...
