Hey guys, looking for a bit of help, need some help narrowing down what the neck on my strat is from.

Soft V neck, 9.5 radius (I think), black truss hole, wide dot spacing on the 12th, made in USA decal, 22 fret, but no serial on the back of the headstock.

I'm pretty sure its nitro, too, I forgot and left a capo on the headstock for a few days and it reacted with the finish..

Help? :?

have you taken off the neck, to see if there is any info on the heel? they usually have at least the date of construction.

Google "squire neck" ..it looks like it would be one of those with the black dots / truss rod hole.

it says "mightymite, Licensed by fender."
mightymite is a company that makes licensed Fender replacement necks. The necks are made in the same factory in Korea that makes Squier stuff.

so there is your answer. your neck was not on an original fender guitar, it is a replacement neck.

google "mightymite by fender" and you can find a bunch of info on them.

Ah well, not too fussed it plays great, especially after the pro setup that fixed the fret levelling issues. Harmony centre reviews seem to back up my opinion too :)

The headstock decal looks pretty good too.

How about a close up picture of it?

I like the dumbells... I think they should be included with every picture of a guitar!
