On a whim I bought a Graph-Tech/Trem-nut. I am looking for feed back from anyone that's tried these. I can understand that they are self lubricating but the package states that it offers better tone as well can anyone verify this? I don't have much of a tuning problem but I'm always looking to improve tone! I am also a bit worried about the R&R procedure I consider myself a craftsman and I'm sure I can handle it. They seem to match-up good but I am looking for a few tricks or heads up on what I'm about to try.
Thanks,
Eddie

I absolutely love them. It's one of the best modifications you can make to a strat. Just wish they came in white.

I don't even mind the black - mine had the nut and the string trees when I bought it - I put the original trees back on because it looked a little cheesy with the black "plasticky" looking trees, but the nut looks kind of cool.

Hey StratHeads-

I want one. I just worry I'm going to Screw up my Babies neck for life. Is it really as easy to do as the book says it is...to swap out the Nut..
