Basswood tends to be a lighter type of wood than others.... however I prefer Alder :) I do have two guitars which have basswood bodies and they resonate nice too! :)

Koocho, last night you said you returned a Road Worn and the shop loaned you a 60s CS for a few days. What happened? Now you have a 85 MIJ. Can you please post us a picture so we can see exactly what you are talking about my friend? Thanks and good luck on your guitar! :)

Calm down Koocho! I am surely not accusing you of anything. I'm merely trying to find out the situation so maybe I can help you. Your post on several threads have been a little confusing to me. That is all! If you had explained all of this at once in one post we probably would not have had a misunderstanding of what you were asking/looking for. So don't get offended if I ask questions as I was only responding to your post. If you'd rather I did not that's no problem. Good luck in what ever you do.

Cool the jets, man ... no one accused you of lying. You have been posting some threads in recent days of some gits you were test driving, and all that is being asked for is an update to what you decided on or are considering ...

So what do u guy think of these guitars I THINK THE HUMBUCKER is a dimarzio it cant be a japanese pickup this contemporary I bought about6 months ago was sitting in someones closet since 1985 its mint It never has been played this is my first fender guitar i didnt have to modify im telling u though there is some minor problems with the design of it for example the trem socket fell out twice and when u lock in the strings u have to put them perfectly in place for them to lock body made of basswood its very light very fragile high maintence guitar. Is the weight of a guitar any indication of how good it is?

Just the 1 humbucker for pickups? And just one volume control and that's it?
