If it was K and 6-digits, it would be a 1990-1991 Japanese Instrument.

if it was k + 6 digits i know it would be japanese. it's not my guitar yet though. saw it on craigslist. it's K + 7 digits. He said he bought it in Korea. I'm starting to wonder if it's just a fake. thanks for the responses!

If your Strat has a K then 6 numbers it is made in Japan how ever you have an extra X there. I have been around Strat's for 28 years and am hoping you were not conned... Check the amount of digets 6, however 7 is not a Fender nor a Squire...

Hope that help's..........
