I use Dunlop Ultex Jazz III's, best picks i've used so far. I love their grip and thickness.

I like triangular picks because it doesn't matter which corner I use.

Nice, a tripple pick ..... I am sure this one is very reliable :)

I use Dunlop Jazz III for faster picking needs, and Fender heavy Pearloid that I shape with a file and bevel the edges for blues. (IMO the pearloid though the same thickness, is a bid harder than tortoise, giving it a more percussive attack).

I've used these for years- the thick one @ 1.52mm. With these I hear the sound of the string, not the pick. And they work well for speed playing too. The only time I use medium or thin picks is when I'm playing acoustic guitar.

Well after listening to you guys on a bout picks i went out yesterday got some More stubbys and have filed the top layer off making it rougher and easier to hold! finally no more slipping for me :D

Is there anyway however to purchase V-picks without ordering online...?

Dunlope 1mm, and some time dunlop 2mm if I'm opting for a more 'shreddy' style..

Chet - the name www.v-picks.com now resolves to 66.84.20.112 which indicates Vinnie has updated his DNS entries; so you can go back to using the name - it makes it easier for most. :P
