I have an assortment that I've been trying out. Thin (.63) to thick (3.0) to see what works for me. I've discovered that I can actually switch, depending on what style I happen to be playing, from thin to thick for different tonal results. So it looks like I'll be keeping a few different picks in my bag and I'll be ordering some of those V-Picks soon too.

V-Picks are way different than any other pick I have played, in over 25 years. Way netter in my opinion.

Chet, I know you have been recommending these for some time (matter of fact, you likely brought these to everyone's consciousness in here). I am not progressed to the lead guitar stage yet. Can these be played primarily with chords? If so, will they tear up the strings (they are pretty thick)? How about with an acoustic? Still good? Finally, do they "thicken" up the tone (say using the same gauge string, a Fender medium vs these guys....suggest a thickness....sound "fuller")?

Thanks, Chet.

Bob

Do not be afraid to try V-Picks, They will not damage strings. There are many choices for sizes of V-Picks. Check out the website to see what I mean. http://66.84.20.112/

Thanks, Chet.
