My guitar teacher has got a Japanese strat with the system 1 trem on it...
I've fallen in love with it and want to know how easy to attain are they?

I've recently played both his and one of his other students japs and i am in total love not just because cosmetically i love it but because they're handsome to play aswell...

Much love to Y'all

i gotta say, after owning close to 10 of them i find my MIM 60'd better than any MIJ's i owned. Both in quality and feel/tone. The MIJ's aside from the fender imported ones have better hardware and pups tho. But i find the neck and body on my MIM pretty much perfect

Hello Classic Rock92,

I like those Japan made Fenders
I played a 52 reissue tele around the
holidays and it was a super nice guitar.
To be honest I like it better than the USA,

Hope you find what you need.

Cheers.

I've played a few MIJ strats from the 80's - great guitars. Much better than the current MIM series and rivaled the MIA's.

Can't speak about MIJ's newer than that though.

Now, japanese GIRLS? Always top notch!

I own 2 mid 80's Fender MIJ's and love them. Fabulous guitars.

Ok i must say i love that you guys love Japan strats too and just for future reference THE ONES I LIKE ARE THE 80's VERSIONS...

And i too think they rival American strats which is no surprise as nothing much was different except location, the japanese strats are made from american woods with American pups and hardware except the system one trem unit which was made from scrapped panzer steel.

Another reason love the japan strats theres an extra story to them.

Best wishes to all!
:D :D :D :D

Also yes they Build there women right on the mark i agree

Grecco Supersounds. Tried one before (just mentioned this in a topic). There's a video on Youtube of a Hendrix cover band that a guy plays a 70's Grecco. Sounds perfect to me.

In the early eighties (correct if wrong), Fender put a lawsuit against those companies that made fender knockoffs. Grecco became Fender Japan.

I dont know about 80's japs because I've never played them. I never even played an 80s american.

Oh my, who wears short shorts?

I voted Yes on the poll, and also I voted No because it allowed for both and because MIJ are a hit and miss.
