Hello all!

I'm wandering which is best to buy, a japanese strat or an american model, i have been wandering for a while, a few people tell me the japanese strats are 'better' than the american versions, others say they're just better value and some say the american strats win hands down. What do you think?

What's the main difference between them? is there any sense in looking for a japanese strat or just saving for a bit longer to get my mitts on the american version?

any help greatly appreciated

cheers

well i personally would prefer an american guitar but japanese guitars are nice too.

first i'd try both and which ever one feels best to you is your guitar

the differences are the americans are a little higher quality workmanship and parts but both are good.

look at what you plan on playing and find what guitar is in your price range that will do your style best. so if you want to save some cash the mexican or japanese guitars are your best option.

also for low-priced american quality look at the highway one guitars they're my favorite.
