They are both generic bodies made on the same jigs in the same factory. Mexican necks fit on american bodies and viceversa anyway.

Even if they used different jigs there going to be set the same for cutting pattern. Fender neck pocket dimensions are common use.

I just found a used '60s Road Worn Strat on Ebay...The serial number started with an MZxxxxx.....meaning that one, at least, was made in Mexico.

I'd assume they are all made in Mexico and, therefore, I'd assume you could mix and match between those guitars easily.

Thanks for all the help Ill let you know how it goes. But While Im at it does anyone want to purchase a brand new Sonci Blue Calssic Player's 60's Strat Body :D

The only issue with fender necks on other fender bodies is the bridge spacing. That would mean high E and low E are to close to the ends of the fretboard respectively for some necks. It's not the body & neck it's the bridge and neck.

Hardware will fit. If the pickguard does not fit find a pickguard that will fit and transfer the hardware. It is easy to do. Pickguards can be had for 15 to 40 $$$. Why would anyone drill new holes into a body to make a pickguard fit.
