Thats cool!

Although I wouldn't say it was Fender inspired...to me it's more of a SG inspired guitar.

I like it. The only thing that I would have different is the pickguard design. It would have looked good with a round style pickguard kind of like a Musicman guard. Also I think it would have been more fitting to the name The Eye that way.

Fender-influenced... how? I mean, what about that guitar reminds you of a Fender? I don't see it.

OMG ARE THEY UGLY!!!! Even if I got one free, I'd sell it right away and buy a true maple neck strat or tele. Knowone can compete with a maple neck on a 52 tele.

Know whats funny?

I built a guitar exactly like that for a customer a few months ago. He wanted a hybrid of a stratocaster and an SG. and that is pretty much what I came up with. Of course, I used a 25.5" scale, because 24 3/4" is #$@*&!% stupid.

Damn, can get a damn nice Strat for that $2500 price tag. You'd think for the price they could have put dot markers.

Player reviews on the linked site are funny though.

Let's see if it gets listed on the vintage price guide years down the line.

+1 -- Exactly. That is a cool looking guitar. Your eye just gets hung up on the hideous pickguard.

I agree and hit every darn branch on the fall down.

Usually I would say no me but to each their own. However, that "thing" is one ugly POS.
