Yesterday i went to the guitar shop, and fell in love with the Big Block Strat. the guy said its discontinued, so i put it aside.

anyone know why its discontinued? Anything bad about it, or just ended the model? thanks.

Just didn't sell enough. I haven't heard of anyone who didn't like theirs though. I think if I happened across a big block tele I would probably buy it.

Discontinued isn't a good reason not to buy it. It is really only the fret markers that are different. So you don't have to worry it can't be serviced, or that you won't get parts. if oyu like it, and the price is right, get it. I also believe that it will appreciate in value, moreso than the other models that don't stand out as much on first view.

I think they made them for like 3 years. I never liked the chrome guard but they did do the square inlays nicely.
