I have seen many articles about Fender Custom Shop building Mickey... er Dean... his own signature Sratocaster. Is thsi guitar available for sale? I wish I was, because it would be the first signature model that I would consider a must buy at any cost. Anyone now more? Please?

I haven't heard anything about this. The custom shop builds artists custom guitars all the time, but most are just one offs for the artist.

Do you have any links to the articles? I'd like to read them. maybe I'm wrong about the guitar.

I have read that his Strat is a 62reissue with texas PUPs at fret and middle, and a Silk of some sort at bridge. Or maybe I have that backwards. So if it was truly a 1 of a kind, I need to find a red 62 reissue and change PUPs... and get a rosewood fret board, which I have actually started to not like on my own. If his custom shop is the Replicaster, mine will be the Copycaster! ;)
