Charlie Chandlers. A very notable shop.

Hi Adrian: indeed I do. Charlie Chandler's Guitar Experience in Hampton Wick has the system:

http://guitar-xperience.com/onlinestore ... &Itemid=38

In fact, they are Plek pioneers and a while ago upgraded to the newer Plek Station machine. They claim theirs was the first in Europe and the second in the world.

Depending where you are in town Hampton Wick can be a bit of a schlep to get out to, but you may find it well worthwhile: Charlie Chandler's is a very nice outfit and a lot different to your average guitar shop. Some extremely tasty and unusual amps to be seen in there, and a very glitzy list of clientele...

Highly recommended.

Cheers - C

PS Lotta good jokes to be done on the name Hampton Wick...

Yes, he's obviously on foot!!

Average speed of wheeled transport in London in the 19th century: 12 mph.

Average speed in the 21st century: 14 mph.

Now if that ain't progress I don't know what is...

Hehe! Somewhat fewer...

After Friends, Matthew Perry did as many of his countrymen and women and came to do a stage show in the West End, to establish his credentials as a Real Actor.

I saw an interview on a chat show where he said nice things about spending time here, yadda yadda - but said, man, the traffic! What's with that - why don't you make the streets wider? The interviewer pointed out that would mean pulling down a lot of rather expensive and long established buildings. Perry had the grace to look a little embarrassed at the obviousness of that...

Actually, I saw the show he was in. He was... mmm... OK, as a proper actor...

BTW: nice to see you round, Orville. Was beginning to wonder if we'd lost you...

Cheers - C

Nope, I was just on a family vacation to ...

wait for it ...

Disneyland!

I'm now trying to get back to normal.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.
