I recently bought a lonestar deluxe edition strat and the bridge on it was so high i had to lower it i was just wonderin if anyone else tht bought ths guitar had tht problem or if thts how fender made thm

Do they still make them? Did you buy it new? If not its possibly an alteration made by a previous owner.

My first line of thought is that the Made in Mexico Lone star Strat probably just has less fit and finish off the assembly line that an American made… But after further reflection I realize the new Malmsteen Strat (MIA) I got for Christmas had the bridge set kinda high as well….not a big deal I just set it to where I wanted it.. took me like 2 minutes to accomplish. Most likely where they set them figuring the most guitarists are going to adjust it too their preference anyway…….
