Find someone who is.

I've always wanted to find a cheap used left handed Squier Strat and flip it. It'd be a fun Hendrix tribute.. :D

I believe I'm reading the same book and I find it informative as well. 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky'

I have reversed a Strat not long ago, put some masking tape over the opposite horn and drive a very small nail through the body, remove the nail and the tape and put the screw lock in there. No damage to the poly finish. Be careful with the angle.

Using a drill might be a better option - correct tool for the job and all that stuff.

He didn't have to - he could have used a strap tied to the headstock, acoustic style. I've seen some people do that with electrics too.
But chances are that because Hendrix was a showman more than anything else, he wanted mobility over stability.
