Completely neewbie from the Netherlands asking for your humble advice.
(excuses for the wrong spelling)

I would like to have more info about my new love I found second hand.
It's a sunburst 50 th anniversary
It has a engraved number S 0865 of S2500
It is a maple bode and neck with very dark rosewood fretboard.
All the hardwarde (even the strings) are gold plated.
11 screws on plate.

Is it some kind of a special serie, because all I can find is a model with a light fretboard and no golden hardware.
Are there more than just a single production serie "50 th anniversary"
The gitar is in mint condition, not a scrath or signs from being used.
No fretware.
The very darkblue suitcase is also like new and with orange interieur. no logo from the other suitcasers wich has a embroidded logo 50 th. inside.
It sounds compared to my Gibson LP Standard almost better.
(playes easyer to)
The sustain is like heaven.

Could you help me out with info about this model?
What type of pick ups etc.
Is it common, is it rare?
Know anybody with the same serie 50 th? - tell me

With kind regards - rock on!!

Ive just researched it and it would appear you have a 50th Anniversary American series strat and somebody has switched the neck at some stage, does the current neck have abalone inlays?
-21 vintage frets
-it has custom shop pickups
-It is an instant collectors item
-original U-shaped neck

Keep supplying the information and one of us will check it out.

First thing you do is upload your pictures to a photo sharing site like www.photobucket.com and then you can copy and paste them from there to your post here. You can't post pictures on here directly from your computer files. I hope I am making sense to you. Good luck and we are looking forward to seeing your guitar!

Looks good. Are those strings gold, or is that just the lighting?

As far I know, also mentioned by the previeuw owner, they are gold plated .010 the original strings wich Fender instaled - for 13 years ago.
I do not know what kind of brand they used back then, suppose they are Fender strings/
Strange I can't find anything on the site by the serial number.

by the way, love the axa -

can anybody tell me if it,s original or modified?

Greetings
